The Electrical and Computer Engineering Graduate Program Master's Handbook contains the details of the program requirements, policies, and procedures for our MS, MSE and MSECE programs.

Application Deadlines:

 

Fall (August)

Spring (January)

Domestic Applicants:

January 2: Priority considerations for University Fellowships and assistantships or financial aid.

June 1: Final deadline for receipt of applications and all supporting documentations.

November 1:  Final deadline for receipt of applications and all supporting documentations.

University Fellowships are not available for admission in the Spring session.

International  Applicants:                        

January 2: Priority considerations for University Fellowships and assistantships or financial aid.

May 1: Final deadline for receipt of applications and all supporting documentations.

October 1: Final deadline for receipt of applications and all supporting documentations.

University Fellowships are not available for admission in the Spring session.

Domestic Applicants: (U.S. citizens and U.S. permanent residents whose undergraduate degree is from an accredited USA college/university.)

Application Checklist: (To expedite processing: All documents can be uploaded to the application or sent via email to:ecegrad@iupui.edu)

  1. Application with $60 application fee paid  (Apply here.) 
  2. Supplemental Questions Form
  3. Transcripts: You must upload electronically to the online application your transcript(s) and/or academic documents for every institution of higher education you attended. If a transcript is not in english, you must upload an English translation certified by the college or university which issued it. The uploaded transcript and/or academic document must be the official version of the document. An official transcript bears the original signature of the registrar and/or the original seal of the issuing institution. All transcripts and/or academic documents uploaded to the online application system are considered unofficial. Your unofficial transcript will be used for the application review & admission purposes. If you are recommended & admitted for admission, you must submit your official hard copy transcripts and/or academic documents directly to the IUPUI Graduate School after you arrive to campus. If you are currently studying for a baccalaureate degree, you will later be required to submit a document that verifies the awarding of that degree.
  4. Certified copy of Bachelor's Degree (diploma), (if not posted on final transcript)
  5. Three (3) letters of recommendations
  6. Résumé or Curriculum Vitae (CV)
  7. Statement of Purpose  (Note that any instance of plagiarism found in your Statement of Purpose will result in your application being rejected.  For a description of what constitutes plagiarism, please review section "G.3 Plagiarism" of the IUPUI Student Code of Conduct.)
  8. Official GRE test scores (https://gre.magoosh.com can be used as a preparation tool for GRE)
