An introduction to the history of architecture of the Western World from the Stone Age to skyscrapers based on lectures and readings from the required texts. Lectures and readings cover the historical development of architecture in the following topics: Stone Age, Egyptian & Mesopotamian, Greek, Roman, Early Christian, Islamic, Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque, and the Modern Era to the present.
