ewb-iupui mission statement
Engineers without borders at indiana university-purdue university of indianapolis, a student chapter of EWB-USA, is a unique student organization consisting of students from a variety of majors. Regardless of their major, each student still has one thing in common: to partner with developing communities around the world in order to design and implement sustainable engineering projects. Alongside the community and indianapolis professionals, EWB-IUPUi designs and implements these sustainable engineering solutions to problems identified by the community. This includes water, sanitation, and renewable energy. The Chapter members train local community members and local NGO's (non-government organization) to successfully monitor and maintain the projects.
