Where is the camp held?

WinIT is held on the IUPUI campus.

Where do the campers stay?

Campers are housed in double rooms in University Tower, our freshman dorm.  Information on The Tower can be found here.  Camp counselors stay in the dorm with the campers, who are all housed on the same floor.

Is this camp designed for honor students?

No.  The camp is designed for students at all levels.

What type of math and science courses are preferred entering into the camp?

None.  There are no prerequisite math or science courses required.

How are the campers supervised?

Campers are accompanied at all times with camp counsellors at a 5:1 ratio.

Is this camp designed for girls who are already familiar with technology?

No, the camp is designed to introduce girls to various technologies. No experience is necessary.

How are the campers grouped? 

Campers are randomly placed into groups of 5, primarily to assign them to camp counselors for oversight.

What is the schedule like?

The daily schedule runs daily from 9 a.m to 9 p.m. with a mix of workshops and and fun evening activities. Lights out are at 10 p.m.
