Engineering & Technology Honors Program Travel Grant

Information and FAQ's

Thank you for your interest in the Engineering & Technology Honors Program Travel Grant. The purpose of the Travel Grant is to help our School Honors Program students participate in a Study Abroad experience or a conference in their area of study. The grant award is up to $2,000. Applications must be submitted to Susan Bradley (susjbrad@iupui.edu or ET 215N in the Office of Academic Affairs and Undergraduate Programs).

FAQ’s:

Who is eligible to receive the Travel Grant?
Engineering & Technology Honors Program Students ONLY. Honors College scholars are not eligible even if they are Engineering & Technology Students.

How is the money awarded?
Once approved, grants will be applied to the Engineering & Technology Honors Student’s bursar account. If you have a balance on your Bursar account, your Travel Grant will first cover the deficit on your account before being reimbursed to you.

Can I apply for a Travel Grant more than once?

  • Yes, but preference will be given to 1st time travelers.
  • Not more than once in an academic year.

Do I receive Honors Credit for these experiences?
Yes, Honors Credit is available for Study Abroad. Honors Credit will only be available for attending a conference is if you are presenting a paper. In either case, you must submit the appropriate forms found here. In order to receive Honors credit for a conference, you must register for HON-H 398 1 to 3 credits.
