Mathematical modeling of clinical treatment:
Numerical models have been made to simulate orthodontic treatment. Models were created for studying effects of orthodontic force on the resulting tooth displacement, effects of various appliance designs on the orthodontic force systems, and the osseointegration of dental implants. The newly created digital models enhance the modeling of clinical cases.
